Overview

The Welsh Harp Open Space was created in 1965 and is a large recreational area near Kingsbury on the north west of the Welsh Harp Reservoir.

The Welsh Harp open space is a haven for nature lovers as it is a local nature reserve and ideal for bird spotters and walkers.

The Welsh Harp Environmental Educational Centre is located at the Welsh Harp and popular activities people do in the area include:

- Bird watching
- Walking
- Jogging
- Dog walking
- Organised water sports via the local sailing clubs.

Public car parking is available in the car parks at the Welsh Harp Open Space, Cool Oak Lane, Neasden Recreation Ground and that of the Youth Sailing Base. Only limited street parking is available in the surrounding housing areas.
