Overview
Alexandra Recreation Ground is situated on King Charles Road and Alexandra Drive in Surbiton, South West London or Surrey (depending on who you ask). It is a fairly large Surbiton park covering over 16.5 acres
The main facilities on offer at Alexandra Recreation Ground are:

The four park tennis courts are open to the public and were relatively recently refurbished. They are leased to a qualified LTA coach who organises various tennis sessions for adults and children of all abilities. All the tennis courts are serviced by an automatic Pay and play machine and there is usually an attendant that periodically checks the courts.
The two bowling greens are very popular, especially in the summer and used by several clubs which hold tournaments throughout the season,
The recreation ground also has two completely free Basketball courts available on a first come first play basis.
Finally there is a croquet club adjacent to the site which is privately run but can also be used by the public.
Buses to get to Alexandra Recreation Ground include the 281,406, 418, and 265 buses.
